(89) Into the Spider-Verse does a better job of conveying the rush of emotions that come with newly acquired super-powers than any MCU entry since Iron Man, and certainly any Spider-Man film since Raimi’s 2002 debut. Spider-Verse is a family film with a heart of gold, but it’s not afraid to take risks with themes that might alarm the younger end of its audience. The wide array of Spider-persons appearing in the film add a welcome variety to the action, and the “printed” aesthetic is mostly pleasing to the eye.
