In many ways the mirror of other recent soft reboots, Resurrections bathes us in the warm glow of nostalgia. Unlike other reprisals, however, this follow-up asks questions and delivers answers about the time jump between titles. It ties feel-good knots on threads left hanging by Revolutions and adds shading to the Matrix universe without actively undermining the divisive second and third entries.
