Kill Bill, Volume 2 (2004) (93) …a little jarring to return to the Bride’s story months later. Part II makes some effort to smooth over this transition, but the two halves most certainly still feel cobbled together. Despite this, there’s no denying that these final chapters bring a satisfying, emotional conclusion to Tarantino’s tale of revenge. The writing is just as referential as Part I, but with more of Tarantino’s signature dialogue layered in. Previously established characters are rounded out, Bill gets his proper introduction, and Carradine subsequently all but steals the show – if not for Thurman’s powerful performance.  [read the Vol. 1 review]
