(72) “There’s no point living, if you can’t feel alive.” It’s the film’s mantra, but The World is Not Enough lumbers along like the living dead. Its action scenes are serviceable enough, though they’re marked by a tired quality that no amount of guns and gadgets can shake. Early dramatic scenes with Sophie Marceau are strong, but are at odds with a goofy second half starring Denise Richards as an unlikely nuclear physicist.
