The War of the Gargantuas (1966)

War of the Gargantuas (1966)
(80) As a sequel to Frankenstein Conquers the World, War of the Gargantuas reassembles genre titans Ishiro Honda, Eiji Tsuburaya, and Akira Ifukube. Godzilla may have made them famous, but the “Frankenstein” films represent some of their most interesting work. The science is wacky, the monsters are unusual, the score is familiar yet fantastic, the cast is one of the best ensembles of the Showa series, and Gargantuas touts some truly inventive monster action that kaiju fans will devour with joy.
