Tenet (2020)

Tenet (2020) (86) There are interesting ideas at play in Tenet, and it does feature some genuinely impressive sequences. It’s hard to tell if every bit of the narrative and visual confusion is attempted artistry or directorial misstep, but the muffled dialogue is certainly more distracting than engaging. One might very well miss the next piece of the puzzle while trying to decipher the last line of dialogue. Tenet does benefit from repeat viewings, but a second watch confirms that key plot elements are unfortunately left to the imagination.
