It Came From Beneath the Sea (71) While It Came From Beneath the Sea might not be premier Harryhausen, there’s a lot to love in the 79 minutes we spend with the film. As hammy a some scenes are, the human protagonists actually form a fairly interesting ensemble. The largest flaw to be found is that almost all of the creature’s screen-time comes on the back end, and the finale lacks the punch monster fans might hope for.
